New Hamburg-Middlehope and Newburgh FD responded to the Newburgh yacht club for reported person that jumped off the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge on August 22nd.

The FD'S were advised that the Dutchess County Sheriff Marine unit had recovered the body and was on way to yacht club. New York State-Town/Newburgh Police and

Orange County Sheriff were at yacht club. Victim was transferred to Town/Newburgh EMS and transported to Montefiore-St Lukes Hospital. Orange County Deputy Fire

Coordinator 36-13 was at scene. New York State Police investigating the incident.
