Eastampton, N.J. — August 12 — Eastampton Fire-Rescue's Rescue Engine 3411 responded Wednesday morning to a reported vehicle fire on Star Drive.

According to Eastampton Fire-Rescue, the crew entered service as soon as they arrived and worked at the scene for just over an hour before becoming available again.

The fire marshal's office is examining the event. No injuries, cause or level of damage were noted in the department's account.

The response allowed the team an opportunity to tackle a vehicle fire while carrying out the typical fireground responsibilities associated with vehicle occurrences, including extinguishment and assessing the vehicle for lingering dangers.
