PITMAN, NJ - Pitman Fire Company crews assisted at a building fire Friday evening, August 1st, in Harrison Township, officials said. The call came in around 7:00 p.m. for a reported house fire. Chief 23 arrived to find a fire inside the township water treatment office. Pitman’s Ladder 28 was assigned rapid intervention team duties and stood by until released by command. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
