Tuesday, 12 August 2025 – After years of planning, the Washington Township Fire Department (WTFD) in Warren County, New Jersey officially broke ground on an addition to its Washburn Avenue Fire Station.

The expansion will feature two new truck bays large enough to house modern fire engines and dedicated training space, ensuring firefighters have the resources needed to meet today’s emergency response demands.

The department expressed deep gratitude to Tim Terry Landscaping for their generous assistance with the project, noting it would not have been possible without their support.

Community members who would like to contribute can donate to the WTFD Building Fund through the PayPal QR link shared in the department’s announcement photos.

This project represents a major investment in public safety and strengthens the fire department’s ability to serve residents across Washington Township and Warren County.
