Fire crews responded Tuesday evening to a building fire on the unit block of Kelly Driver’s Lane in the Chews Landing section of the township, officials said.

Squad 86 was dispatched as automatic aid just before 7 p.m. and established a secondary water supply. Firefighters operated a hand line to help bring the blaze under control, according to the department.

Later in the incident, Squad 86 worked with Pennsauken Fire Department’s Foam Support Unit 11 to suppress flammable liquid vapors. While crews were on scene, additional Squad 86 personnel staffed the firehouse to cover other service calls.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
