Trash compactor fire contained at Delran building

Fire crews quickly contained a blaze that broke out in a trash compactor attached to a building in Delran on Friday morning, officials said.
The call came in around 9:25 a.m., and the Clifton Fire Department responded on the initial dispatch as mutual aid.
Firefighters arriving on scene found the compactor burning but were able to keep the flames from spreading into the building, according to the department.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
