On August 20, 2025, at just after 14:30 hours, a box was transmitted for the Evesham Fire Department for the report of a dwelling fire at 34 Dorchester Circle in the Kings Grant development of Evesham Township. First arriving units initially had nothing showing from the end unit of a row of two story frame townhouse dwellings. Seconds later, crews reported smoke showing from the roof area in Division “C”. The “all companies working” signal was transmitted which brought in additional resources beyond the first alarm assigned units. Evesham firefighters quickly stretched and operated a 1 3/4” handline to the second floor to extinguish the fire and made a good knock on the fire which stopped it from running the row. Crews from Medford, Medford Lakes, Mt. Laurel, and Voorhees assisted with fireground duties and overhaul. No injuries were reported and the fire was placed under control in less than 30 minutes.
