Resident Suffers Burns in Clifton Second-Alarm

CLIFTON, NJ - One resident received serious burns as a two-alarm fire struck a private dwelling on August 16th. Flames were venting out of a second-story window on the “D” side as firefighters arrived at 43 Sade St. at 9:00 PM . A second alarm was sounded as a line was stretched up the stairs to the second-floor and ground ladders and a stick were raised. The fire was quickly knocked down and placed under control in 15 minutes. No other injuries were reported.
