Collings Lakes Fire Department Assists at Major Commercial Fire in Hammonton

October 7, 2025, 2:46 a.m. — The Collings Lakes Fire Department (Station 12-3) was dispatched mutual aid to assist the Hammonton Fire Department at a working commercial building fire at Frog Rock Country Club, located at 420 Boyer Avenue.
Hammonton units arrived to find heavy fire throughout a large building. Collings Lakes responded with Quint 12-36, Tender 12-34, and Squad 12-31. Crews from 12-36 stretched two 1¾-inch attack lines to assist with extinguishment operations, while Tender 12-34 acted as a nurse tanker supplying water to the Quint. Squad 12-31 provided additional manpower to support suppression and overhaul efforts.
Firefighters operated on scene for several hours, successfully bringing the fire under control. Station 12-3 units cleared the scene around 5:15 a.m.
No personnel injuries were reported during the incident. The Collings Lakes Fire Department commended the teamwork and coordination among all responding agencies during the early-morning operation.
