East Haddam, CT. — August 2 — A reported one-car motor vehicle collision prompted the East Haddam Fire Department to respond to Johnsonville Road at Neptune Avenue. The call was sent out by Valley Shore Communications. Engine 4-15, Utility 2-15, and Utility 1-15 arrived on the scene. Before rescue personnel could arrive, the individual had self-extricated. Firefighters helped with incident operations, secured the area, and evaluated the patient.
