HOLTSVILLE, NY - Medford firefighters were activated for a car into a house on N. Ocean Ave. just after 8:00 P.M. on August 19th. A passenger in the car was trapped after the driver lost control, slamming through two vinyl fences, narrowly missing a pool and then traveling across the front lawn before crashing into a porch, just missing the living room. Firefighters and ES units used spreaders and cutters to remove the back door and B post to free the passenger while Medford ambulance personnel stabilized the patients for transport to two hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. No one in the home was injured.
