Hinsdale, NY - Hinsdale Fire Department responded alongside Mattydale Fire Department and other mutual aid agencies to a reported residential structure fire in the Pitcher Hill area on Brewerton Road.

Crews arrived under North Syracuse Fire Department command and found a light smoke condition from a chimney at a vacant residence. North Syracuse Engine 4 investigated the source while Hinsdale Engine 8 secured a hydrant and stood by for water supply support if needed. The incident was quickly brought under control with no significant fire conditions reported.

During the response, Hinsdale units were also dispatched to an EMS call on Hinsdale Road, with additional mutual aid assistance provided by Lyncourt Volunteer Fire Department. Crews responded and assisted as required.

The coordinated efforts ensured effective management of simultaneous incidents across the district.
