Mastic Beach N.Y- On Saturday August 13th the Mastic Beach Ambulance Company Youth Squad held one of their fundraisers for the year. The YouthSquad teens and their advisors held a car wash at the department’s headquarters from 10 AM to 2 PM. The kids washed several cars during that time and also sold some light refreshments to the people who stopped by. The funds raised support the operation of the Youth Squad and will allow them to continue to educate the youth members on the world of EMS as well as participate in special events that they may attend through out the year. The youth squad is open to young folks ages 13-18 years of age and Meets at the Mastic Beach Ambulance Company HQ on Tuesday evenings 6PM to 8PM.
