Auburn, N.Y. — August 5 — The Aurelius Volunteer Fire Department was called to a suspected one-vehicle rollover on Turnpike near Fuller Road. The crash was responded to by Engine 2, Rescue 2, Squad 1, and the duty chief. Auburn and Cayuga ambulances gave EMS assistance while firefighters worked on the area. Once the roadway situation was resolved, crews finished their tasks and went back to work.

Fire and EMS workers at the crash scene had to coordinate their reaction. The neighborhood received fire and rescue services from the Aurelius Volunteer Fire Department, which was located at 6320 Half Acre Road in Auburn. The response on August 5 showed that the department was prepared to use a variety of tools to tackle roadway issues.
