Auburn, N.Y. — August 4 — Within hours, the Aurelius Volunteer Fire Department responded to two emergency calls. Firefighters were called to a car fire on Blanchard Road. The duty chief, Squad 1, and Engines 1 and 2 arrived and were cleared. A single-vehicle rollover on Turnpike Road close to Fuller Road prompted the dispatch of crews.

The duty chief, Engine 2, Rescue 2, and Squad 1 arrived and were cleared. Ambulances from Auburn and Cayuga also arrived. The Aurelius community received fire and rescue services from the department.
