The Chepachet Grange is hosting a Drug Awareness and Prevention event on August 28 at 7 PM, located at 28 Chopmist Hill Road, Chepachet.

This event addresses recent spikes in regional drug overdoses affecting the Foster, Glocester, Scituate, and Burrillville communities. It will feature educational activities, a poster contest, and prizes for participants. Organisers aim to raise awareness about substance use risks and promote prevention strategies across the community.

The event is free and open to all community members, with refreshments provided. Support comes from the Rhode Island State Grange, local and county granges, and community partners.
