Deposit, NY - The Deposit Fire Department and Eastern Broome Emergency Services responded to a shed fire in the Town of Sanford, with the structure located approximately five feet from a nearby residence.

Firefighters quickly initiated suppression operations and successfully contained the fire primarily to the interior of the shed, preventing extension to the adjacent home. Crews worked to extinguish the fire and check the surrounding area for any signs of spread.

Responding apparatus included Squad 22-1, Squad 22-2, Pumper-Tanker 22, Midi-Pumper 22, Utility 22, Ambulance 8421, and Ambulance 8422. The coordinated response helped limit the fire and protect the nearby residence.
