Hasbrouck Heights, NJ - The Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department responded to an exterior fire involving a garbage can on Jefferson Avenue, which had extended to a nearby fence and caused minor involvement to the exterior of a residence.
Upon arrival, crews initiated an aggressive fire attack, quickly stretching handlines to contain and extinguish the fire. Their rapid intervention prevented further extension into the structure and limited overall damage.
The incident was brought under control in a short time due to coordinated efforts and an effective initial response.
