Elizabeth, PA. — August 8 — In the Bunola area of Forward Township, Elizabeth Boro V.F.C. responded to a car accident with entrapment at Elkorn Road and Bunola River Road. Following the discovery of a patient who had self-extricated and another stuck inside a car that had collided with a tree, Chief 139 took command.

During the extrication, crews from Elizabeth Boro 139, Gallatin-Sunnyside 154, and Forward Township 155 collaborated with SouthEast Regional EMS and AHN support. The crash was investigated by Elizabeth Township police. Before clearing the situation and removing the trapped patient, fire, rescue, and emergency medical services workers collaborated.
