Harford, PA - Harford Volunteer Fire Company responded as part of a multi-agency response to a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 81 South near mile marker 216.
Fire, EMS, and mutual aid units worked together to manage the scene, assess multiple patients, and ensure the safety of all involved. Crews coordinated traffic control, patient care, and hazard mitigation while operating along the busy interstate.
Operations continued for approximately three hours as responders assisted the injured and stabilized the scene. Several individuals sustained injuries and were transported by EMS to local hospitals for further evaluation and treatment.
