East Greenwich Crews Responded to Truck Fire

East Greenwich, R.I. — August 7 — Members of IAFF Local 3328 of the East Greenwich Firefighters Association responded to a truck fire in the morning. As they worked to contain the car fire, firefighters arrived and started fire suppression operations. After the fire was suppressed, crews checked the truck and handled the situation using departmental resources.


As part of the town's emergency response system, East Greenwich firefighters offered rescue, emergency medical care, and fire suppression. Personnel from the department responded to the situation. According to the information that was available, no injuries or extra damage were recorded. After successfully completing safety and suppression operations, firefighters cleared the area.
