Willimantic Firefighters Complete Brief Extrication After Rollover

At 4:11 p.m. on August 6, Willimantic firemen and Windham Hospital paramedics were called to a single-vehicle rollover incident near Ash Street and Adelbert Street that had an entrapped occupant.


Extrication assistance was requested from North Windham Rescue 102. Firefighters swiftly released the trapped man from the car using specialist rescue equipment and methods.


The patient was securely transported by the crews when the extrication was finished. There were no patients removed from the area.
