Camden, ME — July 16 — After severe weather scattered debris on several streets, Camden Fire & Rescue, located at 31 Washington Street, responded to numerous roadway concerns. In order to control traffic, remove hazards, and restore safe travel conditions, firefighters collaborated with law enforcement and public works teams. While cleanup was ongoing, some roads were still partially covered in debris, so drivers were advised to drive carefully.

Responding agencies' coordinated actions made it possible for teams to effectively handle many areas and minimize neighborhood disruptions. Until all impacted roads were completely reopened, officials advised vehicles to slow down close to emergency scenes, keep an eye out for any residual debris, and obey traffic signals.
