NEWINGTON, CT - A fire that started on the exterior of an attached garage damaged a home at 147 Old Farms Drive on August 4th.
The fire had spread up into the attic and through the roof of the garage before being stopped. Firefighters had to deal with the hot weather as temperatures were in the mid-90's at the time.
No injuries were reported, and one dog was removed safely from the home. The cause is under investigation.
