Crystal River, FL - The Citrus County Fire Rescue responded to a reported structure fire on North Brighton Road in Lecanto following a lightning strike.

Upon arrival, crews found light smoke coming from a single-story residence. Firefighters forced entry into the attached garage, quickly located the fire, and extinguished it before it could extend into the main living area.

The home was unoccupied at the time, and no injuries were reported. Damage was primarily confined to the garage, limiting overall impact to the structure.
