Rochester, NY - On Saturday, August 1st, Rochester firefighters responded to the Erie Canal near I-390 for a drum, possibly containing an unknown substance, floating in the water. Engine 8 arrived on location and requested a Level 0 Haz-Mat assignment to the scene. The drum was removed from the water without incident.
