Car Strikes Power Pole And Flees

On August 1st 2020 just after 4pm the Suffolk County Police Department 7th Precinct Officers were dispatched to a 911 call that a car struck a telephone pole on Hemlock Drive and fled the scene East Bound on Neighborhood Road in Mastic Beach. Sector Car 715 found the car on the side of the road just past Monroe Drive. Sector Car 715 went to initial crash sight on Hemlock Drive to get the pole number for PSE+G to come and inspect the pole. Power in the area of the pole that was hit was out. Power was back on working a hour or two. No Injuries were reported. No arrest were made.
