Avera, GA - The Avera Fire & Rescue and Wrens Fire Department responded to a reported single-vehicle rollover with possible entrapment at the intersection of Broad Street and North Green Street.

Upon arrival, crews located a vehicle overturned on its roof in a water-filled ditch. Chief Mathis made contact with the driver, confirming they were conscious but trapped inside, prompting the request for AirCare. After ensuring the vehicle was stable, firefighters entered the vehicle to begin patient stabilization while additional crews initiated extrication operations.

Once the patient was safely removed, care was transferred to Warren County EMS for further treatment. The patient was then transferred to an awaiting air medical crew and flown to a regional hospital.
