East Moriches NY- On July 10th at about 4 PM the East Moriches FD was activated for a Boat fire on Land on Harts Rd. On arrival the chiefs found a boat in a commercial yard on fire. Engines 5-7-3 & 5-7-4 responded into the scene. Hand lines were taken off the engine and stretched. The fire was quickly knocked down and no injuries were reported. The units on scene were under the command of 5-7-30.
