Trappe, PA - Units from the Trappe and Collegeville Fire Companies responded to a vehicle into a pole on College Ave Saturday morning, July 25th. Initially EMS responded to the report of a vehicle which had struck a few mailboxes and the driver needed to be evaluated. When they arrived they found a vehicle which has struck a pole a brought down some wires.

Fire units arrived and secured the scene until Exelon Energy crews could arrive to evaluate the damage to the pole. The driver of the vehicle was transported to the hospital for evaluation. The road remained closed for two hours.
