Moon Township Crews Responded to Fire and Crash Calls

Moon Township, PA. — July 26 — When Moon Township Volunteer Fire Company responded to a reported structure fire, they were able to enter the building and swiftly put out the fire before it spread. In accordance with customary response protocols, mutual aid companies were called in, however they were soon released once personnel managed to contain the situation.
Firefighters were sent to Crescent Township for a reported car accident involving entrapment while units cleared the area. After responding units verified that there was just minor injuries and no entrapment, the assignment was canceled prior to arrival. The department's ability to handle several incidents while assisting nearby areas was demonstrated by the reactions.
