Brooksville, FL - The Hernando County Fire Rescue responded to a brush fire in the area of Morning Dove Drive and Kettering Road.

Crews encountered a fire that began as a large brush pile and extended into surrounding vegetation, prompting active suppression and containment efforts. The Florida Forest Service – Withlacoochee Forestry Center was requested to assist with specialized equipment, including a tractor, to help establish containment lines.

Through coordinated efforts, the fire was successfully contained and brought under control, preventing further spread.
