Brooksville, FL - The Hernando County Fire Rescue responded to a motor vehicle accident on the southbound lanes of the Suncoast Parkway near mile marker 49.

Crews arrived on scene and began assisting those involved while working to secure the roadway and clear hazards. One southbound lane was closed during operations to allow for safe emergency response.

Motorists in the area were advised to slow down, use caution, and move over for emergency personnel working along the roadway.
