All hands brush fire in Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, NY - On July 24th at 1930 hours, FDNY units responded to a deep-seated brush fire in the woods near Richmond Ave. and Forest Hill Road. Crews used Indian pumps, brooms and saws to finally extinguish the fire, which was under control after 2 hours. Members had to deal with extreme temperatures and walking a half mile into the woods.
