Brooksville, FL - The Hernando County Fire Rescue responded to a reported structure fire in the 16000 block of Powell Road.

Upon arrival, crews encountered a fully involved shed and immediately initiated an aggressive offensive fire attack to prevent extension to nearby buildings. Firefighters worked quickly to bring the fire under control and limit potential damage.

Following suppression, crews remained on scene conducting overhaul operations to eliminate any remaining hot spots and ensure the area was safe. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
