Jefferson, GA - The Jefferson Fire Department responded to a commercial structure fire within the city limits, initiating fireground operations upon arrival.

Crews were assisted by North Jackson Fire Department, Plainview Volunteer Fire Department, West Jackson Fire Department, JCCI, and Jackson County Emergency Medical Services, forming a coordinated multi-agency response. Firefighters worked together to contain and control the incident, preventing further extension.

The fire was later determined to have originated from a mechanical failure involving commercial equipment. Due to the rapid response and effective coordination among all agencies, the incident was brought under control with no reported injuries.
