Long Beach, N.Y. — June 30 — At the intersection of Long Beach Boulevard and East Park Avenue, the City of Long Beach New York Fire Department, located at 1 W. Chester St., responded to a collision involving two vehicles. When firefighters and emergency medical personnel arrived, they discovered three persons with minor injuries and two severely damaged cars.

After being assessed on the spot, all three patients were taken to Long Beach's Mount Sinai South Nassau Emergency Department for additional care. Chief John Marino oversaw the operation of Engine 2343, Ambulances 2321 and 2322, and Mount Sinai South Nassau Ambulance 2325. Assistant Chiefs DiGiacomo and Ray provided support during the reaction.
