Winona Lake/Orange Lake FD responded to a reported fire in a room at Ramada Inn State Route 300 on July 24. Winona Lake command arrived on scene and

requested Second Alarm sounded. Newburgh FD-Good Will FD-New Windsor FD-Vails Gate FD Coldenham FD responded to scene. Subject was barricaded inside room-firefighters

had to break into room-they used hand lines to extinguish the fire. Subject was escorted out of hotel by Town/Newburgh Police-subject was transported to Montefiore

St Lukes Hospital by Town/Newburgh EMS. Hotel was evacuated when firefighters arrived Town/Newburgh Police at scene-Another Town/Newburgh EMS unit at scene.

Deputy Orange County Fire Coordinator 36-12 and 13 at scene. Town/Newburgh Fire Inspectors Office was at scene. Also member of Hudson Valley Arson/Explosive Task

Force was at scene. Fire is under investigation.
