Macon, GA - During the morning hours of July 9th, Macon Bibb County Fire was alerted to the Sai Ram Food Mart on Houston Road, which is catty corner from Fire Station 7, for a building on fire. Station 7 arrived immediately to a one-story convenience store with heavy fire conditions. Additional firefighters arrived and assisted, including setting up aerials to help with the extinguishment of the fire. The store had recently opened for business. The fire is currently under investigation. No injuries were reported.
