Unity, Maine — July 17 — The Unity Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle crash involving an overturned concrete truck.

Upon arrival, firefighters assumed command of the incident, evaluated the scene and determined that there were minimal hazards associated with the crash. Crews secured the area and remained on scene while awaiting the arrival of a heavy-duty wrecker.

Firefighters continued to provide scene protection while recovery operations were conducted. The wrecker eventually uprighted and removed the concrete truck, allowing fire department personnel to clear the scene.
