Endicott, NY - The Endicott Fire Department responded to a reported RV fire on East Edward Street, where first-arriving units encountered a camper fully involved with fire extending into a nearby single-family residence.

A second alarm was requested due to the involvement of the home, bringing additional personnel and mutual aid to the scene. Firefighters faced multiple hazards, including a compromised electrical service and venting propane cylinders from the camper.

Crews initiated an aggressive attack on the RV while simultaneously conducting a primary search of the residence and extinguishing fire extension into the structure. All occupants had safely evacuated prior to arrival, and firefighters successfully rescued a pet from the home.

The fire was brought under control quickly, limiting damage to the residence. Crews remained on scene to complete overhaul operations before returning to service. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
