Mechanic Falls, ME — July 12 — As part of a mutual aid response, Mechanic Falls Fire/Rescue returned after helping at a multi-acre woods fire in nearby Otisfield. To restore complete operational readiness, firefighters cleaned and examined equipment, refueled tools, replenished apparatus, and cleaned and repackaged hoses after clearing the area. For their synchronized efforts throughout the tragedy, the department expressed gratitude to its members and mutual aid partners.
