Busy Fourth of July Morning Keeps Bantam Firefighters Responding

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

On the morning of July 4, members of the Bantam Fire Company responded to several emergency calls.

In order to help the Washington Volunteer Fire Department with a garage fire, Engine 35 and Tanker 33 initially responded on mutual assistance. Firefighters responded to several calls shortly afterward regarding a medical emergency, a fire alarm activation, and an oven fire.

As they continued to provide emergency services to the community, the sequence of occurrences kept crews occupied into the holiday morning.
