West Durham, Maine — July 8 — At the intersection of Soper Road and Pinkham Brook Road, Durham Fire and Rescue responded to a car accident. While evaluating the individuals involved in the crash, firefighters, emergency medical services, and law officers guarded the area. After receiving treatment, a number of individuals with minor injuries were sent to nearby hospitals for additional assessment.

Drivers were asked to stay away from the area until activities were finished, and traffic was blocked while emergency personnel handled the situation. The fast restoration of normal traffic flow, timely patient care, and scene safety were all made possible by the coordinated response of Durham Fire & Rescue and other organizations.
