On Friday July 18th 2025 the Bayport Fire Department hosted a wetdown ceremony for two new pieces of equipment. The new rigs are Brush 3-14-7 is a 1990 2.5 Ton Army 6x6/2024 Firematic B.R.A.T and Ladder 13 is a 2023 Pierce Impel 100’ Rearmount Aerial. The East Islip Fire Department, Bohemia Fire Department, Blue Point Fire Department, and Patchogue Fire Department attended the event.
