Grill Deemed Cause of Fully Involved House Fire in Brookhaven

BROOKHAVEN, NY - On July 19th, the Brookhaven Fire Department was activated for a reported house on fire. 5-3-30 had smoke from a distance; when 30 arrived on scene, he had a fully involved house.
Brookhaven and mutual aid crews responded in, started exterior operations and tower ladder operations, and knocked all fire down.
?Shirley Ambulance Company transported one burn victim to a local hospital. Crews went back into service three hours later.
