On July 19th the Brookhaven fire department was activated for a reported house on fire. 5-3-30 had smoke from a distance when 30 arrived on scene he had a fully involved house. Brookhaven and mutual aid crews responded in and started exterior operations and tower ladder operations and knocked all fire down. Shirley ambulance company transported 1 burn victim to local hospital. Crews went back into service within 3 hours later.
