Monroeville, PA - The Monroeville Fire Department Company No. 5 operated on a busy series of incidents, providing both mutual aid support and maintaining in-town coverage.
Company 5 was assigned to standby at Swissvale Fire Department Station 278 before being dispatched to a second-alarm incident from that location. Responding with a tanker and a two-member crew, personnel assisted firefighters on scene with overhaul operations, ensuring remaining hot spots were fully extinguished and the structure was safe.
With multiple Monroeville companies committed to the incident, a Monroeville All-Call was activated to maintain community coverage. A crew of four firefighters, along with an EMS unit, staffed the station and remained prepared to handle any additional emergencies.
