Structure Fire in Kingston Draws Multi-Town Response

KINGSTON, MA – At approximately 4:13 p.m. on July 18th, the Kingston Fire Department received calls reporting a structure fire. In response, the Deputy Chief requested all call firefighters to report for additional manpower.
The initial response included Kingston Engine 3, Engine 2, Engine 4, Tower 1, Ambulance 2, and the Deputy Chief. Mutual aid was then requested, bringing Plympton Engine 2 and Duxbury Ladder 1 to the scene to assist.
At approximately 4:23 p.m., Kingston Fire requested a working fire assignment, which brought Pembroke to cover Kingston Station 1. A second alarm was later struck, moving Pembroke from station coverage to the fire scene. Additional resources were requested, including an engine from the Town of Halifax, an ambulance from the Town of Plymouth, and another Plymouth engine to cover Kingston Station 1. The Silver Lake Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) was also called in for support.
No injuries were reported during the incident, and no transportation was needed. Kingston Fire Department stated, "The home was severely damaged and will not be able to be inhabited."
