Over the course of the weekend, the Amwell Valley Fire Company responded to eleven service requests, including three structural fires, five incidents of fallen wires, two fire alarm activations, and one gas leak.

Because wires may still be electrified even if they are not sparking, department officials advised locals to avoid downed power lines and never drive over them.
